We want to make you aware of a significant update in email security that could affect those of you using newsletter services like Mailchimp, Mailerlite, Constant Contact, and others.
Starting 1st February 2024, both Google and Yahoo are introducing new rules to improve email security. These changes aim to ensure that emails are authentic, reducing the risk of spoofing and enhancing overall protection for users.
At NW Design, we’ve long been proactive in securing email communications with proper SPF and DKIM settings, alongside DMARC verification. However, we understand that many people may not be familiar with these terms and may not have the correct settings in place.
Why You Need DMARC
If you’re sending emails on behalf of your domain through a third-party service without the proper DMARC settings, you could be at risk of having your emails marked as spam or even blocked entirely under these new rules.
Protect Your Emails
To ensure your email campaigns continue to reach your audience, now is the time to check your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC settings. If you’re unsure or need assistance with this setup, don’t hesitate to contact our team. We’re here to help ensure your emails stay secure and deliverable.
