We’re incredibly proud of our daughter/granddaughter Molly, who took the initiative to raise money for a cause close to our hearts—Wigan & Leigh Hospice. It all began when Molly decided to decorate Easter wreaths, and before we knew it, she had turned this creative hobby into a way to give back to the community.
Molly started by painting a single wreath, and soon she was investing her own money into materials, working out product costs, and deciding to donate £5 from each sale to the hospice. She even set up a small website with an online store, where customers could easily purchase wreaths, and on Sunday, 26th March, she hand-delivered them to homes in WN postcodes.
In the end, Molly raised £125 for Wigan & Leigh Hospice while making a small profit to replenish her supplies. We couldn’t be prouder of her for supporting such a fantastic local charity that we too work closely with.
Well done, Molly—you’re an inspiration!
