2013 was an outstanding year for NW Design, both in business and motorsport.
Dayle took part in the 2013 Heart of England Rally Championship, earning an impressive 11 trophies throughout the season. Competing in 9 events, the team secured class wins in 8 of them, showcasing their skill and determination. By the end of the season, Dayle had achieved 2nd overall Navigator in the championship, was the highest-ranked front-wheel drive car, and along with Simon, won the prestigious Media Award. Special thanks go to Michael Davies of Rally Stage Media Reporting and Stuart Woodier of Rally Action Photography for their invaluable support. The team is eager to continue working closely with both of them in the 2014 championship.
With a successful season behind them, the team is ready to defend their class win and is actively seeking sponsorship, whether large or small, to help them achieve further success in 2014. Their first event will take place at the iconic Weston Park on the 23rd of March. Last season’s media and press coverage was fantastic, with 11 reports about the team published in local papers, helping to boost their visibility.
Dayle will also continue to raise awareness for Nystagmus, a cause close to his heart, and hopes to inspire others with partial sight to explore motorsport, a sport often overlooked by those with visual impairments. You can read more about Dayle’s journey and how to support his efforts here.
