Prepare for the Transition: The End of Google Analytics 3

Universal Analytics (GA3) will stop processing new data in standard properties starting July 1, 2023. To avoid any disruption in your website’s data tracking, it’s crucial to set up and switch to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) now.

At NW Design, we’ve been busy throughout April and May setting up GA4 for many of our clients to ensure a smooth transition.

Currently, it’s advisable to run both Universal Analytics and GA4 in parallel. This way, by July 2023, you’ll have year-over-year (YoY) reports for comparison and can continue monitoring your website’s performance seamlessly.

While GA4 is still evolving and not yet fully developed, it’s on track to becoming a more powerful and insightful tool than the much-loved Universal Analytics.

If your business relies on accurate website data, don’t wait until it’s too late to implement GA4. Ensure your data continues flowing uninterrupted by making the switch now.
